Mold remediation: Mold remediation can be done anywhere from a single day job all the way to very complex and expensive, depending on who is involved and what the degree of mold contamination there is. Remediation can be done solely for the HVAC system, or in conjunction and coordination with all other remediation activities. Duct cleaning will proceed as standard, but will require exclusively HEPA filtration, a very thorough application of biocide, additional PPE, and proper, contained disposal of removed contaminants and vacuum filters. AHU cleaning becomes a requirement. AHU mold remediation will proceed as standard, but will also include a sufficient application of biocide and full re-insulation, sealing/encapsulation, or insulation removal.
